要是一个模板光开头就用掉 130 个词里的 20 个,去说“Well, that is a really interesting question, and personally I would have to say that…”(嗯,这个问题真的很有意思,就我个人而言,我大概会说……),还没进入第一个理由,分给它的字数就先没了三分之一。

I would choose [option], for two reasons. First, [reason one]. For example, [one specific detail — a person, a number, a moment]. Second, [reason two]. In my case, [one short example]. That is why I prefer [option].

填好的样子——Do you prefer studying alone or in a group?(你更喜欢一个人学,还是小组一起学?)

I would choose studying alone, for two reasons. First, I control the pace. When I studied for my licensing exam last year, I could spend a whole evening on one chapter without slowing anyone down. Second, I get distracted easily in groups. My study group in university usually turned into a two-hour conversation about football. So for real progress, I prefer studying alone.

把第一个理由往深里挖,补一句它带来的结果:“and because of that, I finish material about twice as fast”(正因为这样,同样的材料我大概能快一倍看完)。

The university plans to [change from the reading], because [the stated reason]. The man / woman [agrees / disagrees] with this plan. His / Her first reason is that [reason one, with the detail he or she gave]. He / She also points out that [reason two, with its detail].

The university plans to close the north dining hall on weekends, because very few students eat there on Saturdays and Sundays. The woman disagrees with this plan. Her first reason is that the north hall is the only one near the science dormitories, so students there would have to walk fifteen minutes in winter for a meal. She also points out that the survey behind the decision was taken during exam week, when most students were eating at home, so it does not show normal weekend demand.

The reading explains [term], which is [one-sentence definition]. The professor illustrates this with [example / experiment / story]. [What happened — the concrete sequence]. This shows [how the example demonstrates the term].

The reading explains diminishing returns, which means that adding more of one input eventually produces smaller and smaller gains. The professor illustrates this with a bakery. When the owner hired a second baker, output nearly doubled because the two could split mixing and baking. But the fourth and fifth bakers added almost nothing, since they were waiting for the same two ovens. This shows that once a fixed resource is saturated, extra workers stop adding value.

The lecture is about [concept], which is [brief definition from the professor's own words]. The professor gives two examples. The first is [example one, with its detail]. The second is [example two, with its detail]. Together they show [the point the professor was making].

如果教授没给两个例子,只讲了一个长例子,那就按阶段切开来说:“First he describes what happens when… Then he explains the result…”(他先讲在什么情况下会发生什么,再解释结果是什么)。

“For two reasons”、“she also points out that”、“together they show” 这类说法,你可以反复用。
“I would choose X”、“For me it is clearly X”、“X, without much hesitation”,干的是同一件事。
